It is common to have a bar that serves alcohol at your wedding. However, how fun would it be to have a cupcake bar, a nacho bar, a mimosa bar or even a grilled cheese bar?!?!? (And if you like cupcakes, we have an awesome local vendor, The Cupcake Bar, whose cupcakes are truly scrumptious!) It is a really unique way to allow your guests to customize their appetizer, dinner, or dessert. Not to mention, everyone will be talking about how cool it was for years to come!

For me, placemats are table decorations that are used during family gatherings, special occasions or holidays. I always remember the placemats my mom or grandmother would use and associate them with happy memories. Placemats are wonderful decorations that make the table feel warm, add style, and tie all the table decorations together. At a wedding, placemats could be made of any material, in any color, with any embellishment. The second photo is painted cork! How cool is that?!

Madison and James’ wedding on Saturday was just beyond awesome. Check out the constellation table runners her parents made! And dinner under the lights at Three Points Ranch? Always perfection.

El Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated all over the world and in different cultures. I know it sounds a little morbid, but, it is actually a celebration of life honoring and remembering family, friends and loved ones that have passed away. Day of the Dead is celebrated on October 31 through November 2. There are so many beautiful colors and traditions that encompass Day of the Dead. If you are getting married on any one of these days, it could be a really fun accent to include some of the bright colors or traditions in your big day!

Non-floral boutonnieres are a trend that is becoming more and more popular. Not only are they a eco-friendly alternative to flowers, they last forever! The boutonnieres can be customized to match the personality or hobby of your groom and his groomsmen, or even to match the theme or feel of your wedding. I love seeing these fun and unique boutonnieres at weddings! Not to mention, they look super cool in pictures!

“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”

This is a tradition that all brides know very well. Something blue is such a fun aspect to picking your attire and accessories. Who doesn’t want to shop for that one special something blue for their big day?!

Chair ties are a fun accent that give an extra pop of color or add do the elegance of your decor. You can put them on every chair, every other chair or just on you and your new husbands’ chairs. Besides coming in almost every color and shade you could ever imagine, you can tie them in any way you wish! Chair ties are a perfect accessory to dress up your wedding!

A style of centerpiece that I have always loved is submerged flowers. When I walk into a reception and see them on the table with the glass catching the light from the sun or candles, it definitely makes me say, “Wow! How beautiful is that!” You could use any flower, in any type of vase, to achieve the look you are going for! They are so unique and romantic, and I just can’t get enough of them. 🙂

Sign in books at weddings are a tradition that many couples want to include in their wedding. A unique sign in object could be used to go along with your wedding theme or it could describe a hobby that you as a couple share. It is always so special to look back and remember who was there, to remember what a fun time everyone had and to read the warm wishes they left for you.  No matter what you choose, anything could be used!!!
