madison + freddy
Seriously romantic. I mean, take a look.
Madison and Freddy are beyond adorable – they are two of the sweetest people I’ve been lucky enough to work with.
They got married in November at the Allan House which was just the perfect spot. First, I have to point out all of the outfits. The bride looked like a princess in her beautiful lacy gown (with a blue heart stitched in the lining). And for any one who has ever debated bridesmaids wearing mismatched dresses in a color scheme, her bridal party is the perfect example of just how incredible it can look – dressed in a range of neutrals and blushes, her attendants looked perfect. And I loved the twist on the outfits for the guys. Instead of traditional suits, they all wore corduroys and vests in ranges of browns and earth-tones. Perfection!
The whole wedding felt so much like fall. They had fall decor on the chairs on the aisle, pine cones on top of the cake, and her bouquet was a beautiful combination of fall colors. For their centerpieces, they did clusters of very fall elements – from succulents in boxes to honey to pine cones and owls, all sitting on cross-sections of trees. Gorgeous!
One thing we’ve GOT to talk about is the pie bar. Freddy’s aunt brought home-made pies with her for the pie bar, and they were a HUGE hit! Lucky for me and my assistant, she said that we had to try everything, and let me tell you… holy moley! There was buttermilk, pecan, pumpkin, toll house… and they were all beyond incredible! My personal favorite was the toll house pie – it’s like a giant cookie in a crust, how can you go wrong??
And the end of the wedding was a perfect surprise! Madi and Freddy thought that they’d be leaving in Madi’s car to drive to their hotel room downtown, but little did they know that Madi’s parents had made special arrangements for a horse and carriage to pick them up and take them to the Driskill. Such a beautiful ending to this fairytale wedding!
And it was all captured oh so beautifully by Joyeuse Photography.
